TOPIC: Error running CRON Job

Error running CRON Job 4 years 11 months ago #195

Hello,

Just upgraded to the latest release and setup a CRON job for the Automated Domain Transfer Check. When I run this cron it fails to start and I get this error. Its the only cron job I run that I get this error:

"This application failed to start because oci.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Anyone have any idea why this would happen and what the fix is?

Thanks, Dean

Hi,

OCI.dll is a part of Oracle database software. Do you need that? To disable this extentions you should edit php.ini. Locate the extension in php.ini and set a semicolon ; before the extension.

Otherwise, if the extension is required for your web apps, then check if the OCI.dll is present in the directory in which the loadable extensions (modules) reside.

Marco

Hi,

oci.dll is not loaded in my php.ini file. The other php cron jobs I have for whmcs run with no problem.

Thats whats so strange about this error...

And have you tried to execute the php script manually with the php -q command?

Hmmm...

I logged into whmcs, ran the Domain Transfer Check from the addon section and it worked perfectly.

Is it the same file being ran from the addon interface as the cron job? ( resellerclubmods_transfercheck.php )
