We are pleased to announce a new update for the OX Business / Enterprise Email Hosting Module!

You can now start with update the Core Addon to the latest v4.3.2 release as well as the OX Business / Enterprise Email Hosting Module 4.3.1 release with the corresponding AutoUpdate Wizards, directly from within your WHMCS by navigating to Addons » RCM Core Console v4!

For further details, please refer to the changelogs and the Administrator Guides:

What's new?

Upgrade and Downgrade of options are to add or delete email accounts for active services. Customers can easly upgrade or downgrade at any time directly from the client area products details dashboard.

However, downgrade was even possible for used email accounts but efectively the email accounts were not deleted if some of them were in use.

This is now no more possible. We have added the required validation routine to avoid this inconveniences. Should a customer try to remove more accounts than the number of unused accounts, then he will be presented with a clear error message:

Downgrade Email accounts

Does this also work for Donwgrade Email Plans?

Yes, similar to the downgrade of email accounts. The validation routine checks if the downgrade to the maximum number of email accounts of the selected lower plan is possible with removing the necessary accounts. If the requested downgrade is valid, the plan will be downgrade automatically, otherwise a warning message will be thrown that downgrade is not possible.

What about the G Suite Module which works similar to the Business / Enterprise Email Module?

Yes, the same routine is ready for implementation. However, the API lacks with the requirement to validate the current and unused number of email accounts. We already requested to the API developers the needs to validate account deletion and as soon as available we will implement it immediately.

What are the requirements to opt for this new feature?

All you need to do is update the RCM Core Console v4 Addon and the Module to the latest available release and change the Product settings to allow Upgrade / Downgrade between all the 4 Business Email plans. The same for the Enterprise Email Products. Please note that Upgrade or Downgrade between Business and Enterprise Email plans is not supported.
